Being healthy on a budget

1. Youtube

Youtube is a great resource for those who want a great work out without splashing the extra cash on private gym memberships. Check out the blogilates channel for useful tips and tricks.

2. Homemade Detox

Instead of spending ridiculous amounts of money on professional detoxing kits why not make your own at home? All you'll need is a jar, some fruit and (of course) some water, keep it chilled overnight then voila!
 Bon appetit!

3. Eat clean (Like Duh?)

Try eating fresh foods that are unprocessed and full of nutrients. Eating healthily doesn't mean not eating out, it's just about making better choices i.e the picture above is of a pulled pork salad I had at Turtle Bay. It was delicious.

4. Get out more

Step away from the computer, I repeat step away from the computer. It sounds simple but you'll be surprised at how many people fail to venture outdoors. Being healthy has a lot to do with your state of mind and nothing relaxes the mind more than a nice country stroll. (p.s. the picture above is indeed the view from my window, as I'm sure you've probably guessed I live in the middle of nowhere).

5. Think positive

The change starts from within!
